last week

Last week my house went from white to dark grey. Rhino to be precise (and coincidentally the colour chosen for facia boards is called Elephant - I am now Katharine Hepburn and live in the African Queen).
It didn't just happen. Dad and I painted it... for hours. And that's just the front AND it's only the first coat. But it makes such a difference. It feels like a new house and I smile every time I walk down the stairs to the front door.

hello African Queen. Isn't it wonderful how something like that can make you feel so good, and happy, and smile just to look at it.
Here's to good painting weather for the rest of the job (or perhaps just one coat on the front is enough!).

It looks fabulous! Such a difference! The grey almost matches your logo - paint your front step with the green and you'll be set. ;-)
(Our new house is a similar grey, but colorbond, and our front door is an acid green - so I'm a little biased!)
