test
A test print of 'kokeshi dolls' arrived in the letterbox today. I have been driving to my PO Box every day waiting for it to arrive... then it turns up at my house. I think it might be time to pay closer attention in life, it could save me some petrol.
I decided to do a digital test print and see how the scale of the dolls really work before launching into the process of screen printing. It's quite a commitment financially to order a new design and I wanted to be sure. Now I am. But I might have a play with some different colour combinations. Any suggestions? It's a 3 colour print.

I work from home and space here is very limited.
I work on my kitchen table and pack away everything before picking up the kids from school.
It was time to do a lounge room redesign and reclaim some more space.
It may sound strange, but this cupboard has changed my life!
And thanks to Dad for helping me (doing most of it) put them together.

Nothing more than clearing out the photos from my camera. The top picture is my first attempt at making up a doily. I think the photo captures the point at which I gave up...

homespun
The latest issue of Australian Homespun magazine features one of my projects. The brief: something pink. Well, I had to laugh. I am not a pink type of girl. But did have just the fabric for such a project!
