New mustard and chocolate drawstring waist dress. The pattern is from my favourite Japanese sewing book: Stylish Dress Book. As per usual I have changed a few things. No sleeves and an outside casing with web tape at the waist. And as it's still winter here, I'll be wearing it with black tights and a cardi!

The boys recently had their school athletics carnival. I love the textures of the old red and white flags. The colours of the number markers. I'm really not sure what the other parents thought of me taking these pics while everyone else was more focused on the action.

on the weekend

This past weekend was perfect weather for hitting the bush with our bikes. My eldest son thought we had struck gold when we discovered a bike track not far from home. His eyes were bulging.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by on the weekend and picked up a few of my products or just said hi and made the event fun to be at. I have a few winter nest cushions left over and am putting them in the shop now.
