This week I had a craving to sew small, quick projects. A few needle books and purses to fill up the gift  draw. Simple sewing that's not rocket science, but gives me great satisfaction.

Last week I received the strike-offs for 'sampler border' yardage. I'm really liking this print and a little bit sad I don't have a girl's room to do up. I can see this as curtains. This will be printed up and available at the Stitches and Craft Show - Sydney, in a few different base cloths and colours.

The Stitches and Craft Show have TWO Sydney shows this year and even more exciting than that is the new venue! Can't tell you how excited I am about this. The venue looks awesome and much, much closer to the happening parts of Sydney. I'll be there selling my fabrics and playing host to some of the Melbourne peeps that travel up for the fun (it wouldn't be the same without my pal & Brisbane roomie, Sandra).

Thanks to the organisational skills of the lovely Suzy, my tea towel draw has been restocked with some handmade goodness. All washed (but not ironed, I'm allergic to ironing) and ready to go. Thanks to all my partners for making the last few visits to the post office VERY exciting.
