dress N

New mustard and chocolate drawstring waist dress. The pattern is from my favourite Japanese sewing book: Stylish Dress Book. As per usual I have changed a few things. No sleeves and an outside casing with web tape at the waist. And as it's still winter here, I'll be wearing it with black tights and a cardi!

Oh wow that is stunning! I have some of that same print in red - sadly not enough for a dress.

Gorgeous dress. What a great look it will be with tights and a cardi, a refreshing splash of colour for winter.

Love it! Is the necklace by Elk by any chance?

Love the mustard color and the choice of pattern! Can you share where you purchased the fabric? Or at least the brand and line?

Thanks everyone. Shari: I purchased the fabric from Lincraft. It's a stretch poplin.
